| 1) Fold one end of the obi lengthwise for about 15 inches and wrap the
rest around your body two or three times. |
2) Fold the long end up wrap the short end over then under this piece. |
3) Pull tight to form a knot |

| 4) Fold the long end over and under (acordian style) |
5) Wrap the short end over the pleats and up behind the
knot. |
6) Pull the short end straight up and tight. If you have a lot of material
t the end you may make another wrap around the pleats. |

| 7) Spread the loose end open and lay it over the bow. Smooth out the bow
and clear up any extra wrinkles. |
8) Turn the obi to your right (following the wrap of your yukata) until
it rests in the center of your back. |
9) Adjust the front to smooth out any wrinkles in your yukata or obi.. |
