| 1) Put on all undergarments. | 2) Slide the Eri Shin into the back of the yukata collar. Put on the kimono. | 3) Fold the left side of the yukata over your body and make sure the side panel ends just in front of your hip. Use your right hand to pull any slack from behind your back. |

| 4) Make sure not to slide the yukata across your back and carefull open the left side. Fold the right side over until it is firm and smooth against your body. | 5) Pull the left side back over the right. If you have held it steady, the left should line up neatly just in front of your hip. Tie off just over your hips with a koshi himo | 6) Allow the front of the yukata to billow slighty over the front. Angle the koshi himo downward. |
